Wilmar Sugar – Various Mills
JEI are regularly engaged by Wilmar to carry out various capital works (primarily at Invicta Mill) during the slack season and supply labour for shutdowns and maintenance relief. JEI have serviced 9 mills throughout North Queensland and currently undertake all statutory calibration and function testing of electrical test equipment at each site.
In the past 4 years, JEI has successfully completed more than $300k in works for Wilmar without any lost time safety incidents.
Typical works undertaken have consisted of:
- Installation of cable ladder and conduits.
- Install and terminate electrical and instrumentation equipment (VVFD’s, HV and LV drives, instrumentation, and various process skids.
- Carry out process and compressed air tubing for instrumentation and valves.
- Instrumentation calibrations.
- Carry out loop checks and commissioning.
- Hazardous Area equipment installation, maintenance and verifications.
