Puma Energy – Bitumen and Fuel Terminals
JEI are regularly engaged by Puma Energy to carry out various capital and maintenance works at several of its major facilities in North Queensland and are the preferred E&I contractor for the Townsville sites.
In the past 6 years, JEI has successfully completed more than $630k in works at the Mackay Fuel Import Terminal, Townsville Fuel Import Terminal and Townsville Bitumen Terminal without any lost time safety incidents.
Typical works undertaken have consisted of:
- Install and terminate electrical and instrumentation equipment (VVFD’s, LV drives, MCC’s, Heat Tracing, Lighting, Instrumentation, and various process skids.
- Carry out process and compressed air tubing for instrumentation and valves.
- Instrumentation calibrations.
- Carry out loop checks and commissioning.
- Hazardous Area equipment installation, maintenance and verifications.
